Walter "Jack" Pate, 93, of Kinston, passed away Sunday April 21, 2024 at his home. Jack was born June 2, 1930. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and was awarded the Bronze Star, as well as the Purple Heart.
