Addie Stroud Obituary

Addie Whitfield Stroud, 87, of the Moss Hill Community passed away Monday, September 17, 2018. Addie was born October 26, 1930 to the late Isaac “Ike” Carr and Frances Jones Whitfield. She was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was a long time member of Holy Innocents Episcopal Church and more recent years a member of Webb Chapel United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Melvin (Marguerite), Floyd (Louie Dell), Hubert (Liz) and William “Billy” (Sybil) and sisters Marietta and Rachel.

Addie is survived by her daughters Barbara Hill (Jay), Henrietta Shepherd, Linda Cole (Tony) and Dixie O’Hare (Mike), eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00am Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Pinelawn Memorial Park. Memorial service will be held at Webb Chapel United Methodist Church Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 2:00pm with Pastor Rod Dorn officiating.
