Bobbie Akins Obituary

Bobbie Ray Akins joined her Heavenly Father on August 13, 2018. She was a loving mother, devoted sister and dedicated friend that loved her family. No matter where she was, Bobbie was always Mom to everyone around, whose home was always open. She was a faithful Christian woman that dedicated her life to her church and lived her life helping others. Bobbie raised two exceptional men, that have been able to carry on her legacy.

She is survived by her sons, Tre Akins and wife Caroline and Heath Akins and wife Sinitia, grandchildren, Madelyn Akins, Justin Kenneally and Jared Kenneally, sisters, Edna Fitzgerald, Autry Schaut, Paulette White, and Madeline Casey, and brothers, Terry Ray Hill and Alton Hill.

Visitation with the family will be from 1:30-2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Kinston First Pentecostal Holiness Church. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
