Cecil Duke Obituary

Cecil Wadas Duke, 87, of Ayden passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Wilson Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and May Duke and sisters Jane Ipock and Lou Woodard. Cecil was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He was retired after 32 years of service as a Firefighter with Kinston Fire Department and loved spending time with his family and friends and was an avid Duke fan. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife Sherry Grace Duke, sons Cecil Duke, Jr., Gerald Duke and Ryan Williford and sister Vina Wells.

Graveside service will be held at Westview Cemetery Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11:00am with Pastor Allen Stocks officiating.
