Cheryl Kennedy Obituary

Cheryl Ann Noble Kennedy, 70, of Kinston, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at UNC Lenoir HealthCare. She is preceded in death by her son Joseph John Kennedy, parents Lynwood and Hilda Grace Lee Noble, step-brother Lynn Edward Hill, step-mother Elizabeth Thompson Hill.

Cheryl is survived by her husband Tony Kennedy, brother David and wife Erin of Missoula, Montana and stepsister Nyra Hill of Chapel Hill, NC, nieces and nephews Mira Grace Noble of Missoula Montana, William Sawyer Noble of Denver, Colorado, Kyle and Emmy

Cheryl graduated from Grainger High School in 1966 and a attended the Petersburg Hospital School of Nursing in Petersburg, Virginia where she graduated in 1969 earning her RN in

Nursing. She worked at hospital as well as a plant. In 1988, Cheryl became the City of Kinston’s Occupational Health nurse and served in that position until her retirement. She was a member of Nobles Chapel Church in Nobles Crossroads, Deep Run NC.

Visitation will be held at Howard-Carter Funeral Home Friday, October 26, 2018 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Funeral will be held at Howard-Carter Funeral Home Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00am with graveside to follow at Westview Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Cheryl’s life.
