Eddie Ray Moody

Eddie Ray Moody, 80, of Deep Run passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2018 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2018 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Allen Ham officiating. Burial will follow the service at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

He was a member of Smith’s New Home Free Will Baptist Church.

Eddie is preceded in death by his parents Felix and Mary Ellen Moody.

Survivors include daughter Teresa Gail Mills and husband Dexter of Trenton; sister Shirley Jean Rikard of Deep Run; grandchildren Teresa Michelle Jones, Ashley Dawn Emory; great-grandchildren Ashton Blaine Jones, Ayden Quinn Jones, Auben Lee Jones, Camden Wayne Batten, Jackson Caleb Emory, Jasmine Hope Emory; numerous nieces and nephews; and his special dog Coco.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Ct., Goldsboro, NC 27534.
