Freeman Hooker Casey, Sr., 90, of Kinston passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the North Carolina State Veterans Home in Kinston. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jake Casey and Luna Moore Casey, son, Freeman Casey, Jr., granddaughter, Emily Casey and great-grandson, Nicholas LeVan.

Freeman is survived by his daughter, Mary Helen Dudley, son, Jeff Casey, grandchildren, Jay Dudley, Greg Dudley, Cecilia Jones, Christine LeVan, Jennifer Alston, Michelle Hall and Abby Gail Casey, great-grandchildren, Leah Dudley, Cameron Jones, Christopher LeVan, Jacob Dudley, Carson Jones, Casey Alston, Caylee Alston, Piper Dudley and Conner Hall, sisters Minnie Margie Rouse and Emma Jett, ex-wife, Helen Hardy Casey and special friends, Lois Koonce and Gary and Gail Morton.

Visitation will be held at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral service will be held at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 11:00am with graveside to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
