Genevieve Harrison Obituary

Genevieve Best Harrison, 88 of New Bern passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at home. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Helen Sasso, sister Frances Dougherty, three brothers John Sasso, Ralph Sasso, Joseph Sasso and an infant sister.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy Connor and husband Ted of New Bern, sons James Best, Jr. and wife Diane of Durham and Michael Best and wife Brigette of Winterville, grandchildren Tiffany Best of Newport, Jacob Best and wife Kimberly of Kinston, Rachel Connor of New Bern, Bradley Connor of Wilmington, Kyle Best of Winterville and Skyler Best of Raleigh, great-grandchildren Emerson Best and Lillian Harper Norris, brothers James Sasso and wife Susan and Eugene Sasso and wife Linda all of Pennsylvania and her beloved dog Sweet Pea.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 11:00 am at Westview Cemetery with Father Miguel Arturo Cabra officiating.
