Geraline (Rouse) Murphy

Geraline Rouse Murphy, 81, of Kinston passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019 at Wayne UNC Healthcare, Goldsboro. She is preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Hattie Garris Rouse and sisters Shirley McGee and Kathleen Hinson.

Geraline was a member of Jackson Heights Original Free Will Baptist Church.  She enjoyed shopping, spending time with friends and family; listening to country music, especially Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn.  She was loved by all and will be missed by many.

Survivors include her sisters Linda Blackburn and husband Bobby, Eleanor Rouse Williams and husband Tim and Martha Rouse Turnage and husband Ralph; brothers Johnny Rouse, Melvin Thomas Rouse and wife Frances and Ricky Leon Rouse and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 8, 2019 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Funeral service be held at 2:00 pm. with Pastor Justin Barnett officiating. Burial to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
