Gladys Smith Obituary

Gladys Mae Smith, 87, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Vidant Duplin Hospital. Gladys was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Shoup and second husband, Jack Smith.

She was a member of Whaley's Chapel FWB Church. Gladys loved spending time with her family and lending a helping hand to anyone in need. She was loved by many and will be truly missed by all. Gladys is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Shoup, son, Randy Shoup and wife Linda, grandchildren, Donna Shoup Price, Randall Shoup Jr., Melissa Futrell, Robert Sauls, 12 great-grandchildren and sister, Elizabeth "Libby" Reynolds.

Visitation will be held at Howard-Carter Funeral Home Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 7:00pm-9:00pm. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ronnie Taylor officiating. Graveside service will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
