Horace Davis Obituary

Horace Davis, 91, of Kinston passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Harmony Hall Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Horace is preceded in death by his parents Charlie & Bertha Davis, wife Dorothy Craft Davis of 68 years and daughter Carolyn Davis Robbins. He was employed by the City of Kinston for many years before his career in sales and advertising for WISP and WRNS. Horace was a member of the Lions Club for 52 years.

Horace is survived by his son, Randall Davis and wife Connie, 3 grandchildren Tripp Robbins and wife Mandy, Jarod Davis Robbins and wife English and Tyler Davis and wife Jessica, 8 great-grandchildren, sisters Judy Davis Grady and husband Willard and Margaret Davis Tyndall, brothers Charles Davis and Benny Davis, sisters-in-law, Lil Hill, Alice Sutton and Margaret Short.

Visitation will be held at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, Wednesday July 24, 2019 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Family request no flowers, memorials may be made to The Lions Club in Horace’s honor.
