Kong Sun “Katie” Bryan, 83, of Kinston, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC.

Survivors include her husband Bernice Bryan of Wintergreen; daughters Gina Waters and husband Ronnie of Kinston and Lorina Garrison and husband Vernon of Greenville; grandchildren Brandon Waters, Bryan Waters and wife Nicole and Cameron Garrison; great-grandchildren Layla and Thea Waters; special family friend Pat Hopkins. A special thanks to Stephanie Butner.

Memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2018, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Stocks officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
