Mary Grace (Whaley) Heath

Mary Grace Whaley Heath, 83, of Kinston passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at her home.  She was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church, past president and secretary of the United Methodist Women and was district United Methodist Woman of the year in 2005. She was a member of Woodmen of the World Lodge #46 where she served as president and held numerous offices within the lodge.

Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with funeral service beginning at 12:00 noon with Pastor Greg Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Arlene Johnson and brother Buddy Cahoon.

Mary is survived by her husband of 60 years Linwood Heath of the home; daughter Wanda Heath; son Frank Heath; sisters Cassie White, Debbie Keith, Alma Lancaster and Lois Watson; brother Furney Cahoon; special pets Boss, Daisy, Lil Bit and Duchess and many other special friends and family.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shady Grove United Methodist Church, 4359 Middle Road, Kinston, NC 28501 or St. Judes Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
