Nannie Lucile (Harper) Tyndall

Nannie Lucile Harper Tyndall, 92, of Deep Run, entered into the presence of God on Monday, February 19, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Franklin Tyndall; parents Preston and Estelle Harper; and her sisters Marie Bunn, Elizabeth Williams and Dot Blizzard.

Nannie was a charter member of Deep Run First Baptist Church where she was active in many areas of church life and Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include her daughters Valeria Tyndall Taylor of Deep Run, Nancy Jo Tyndall Smith and husband Ray of Richlands; son James Preston Tyndall and wife Jean of Deep Run; grandchildren Joshua Taylor and wife Jen, Jordan Taylor and wife Allison, Stan Smith and wife Tegan, Casey Smith, Candace Smith; great-grandchildren Liam, Greyson and Salem; sister-in-law Elizabeth Herring; brother-in-law Ray Blizzard, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Deep Run First Baptist Church with Pastor Dave Fishman and Pastor Luis Miranda officiating. Burial will be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park following the service.
