Allen Joyner Wade

Allen Joyner Wade, 83, of Kinston, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Signature Nursing Facility, Kinston, NC.  He was preceded in death by his parents Tommy Wade and Minnie Joyner Wade; sister, Dollie Murphy and brothers, James Wade, B. T. Wade, Kevin Wade and George Wade.

Allen worked as a machinist for thirty-two years at E. I. DuPont de Nemours in Kinston.  Allen was married to his wife, Janice Wade, and together they had two sons, Paul Allen Wade and wife, Kathryn of Atlanta, GA and Anthony Titus Wade of Kinston; grandchildren, Joseph Allen Wade, Katlynn Marie Wade, Devin Harrison Wade and Taylor William Wade; great-grandchildren, Emmie James Rogers, Joey Michael Wade and Caroline Marie Riggs and sister, Barbara Ann White and husband Lynwood of Kinston.

Funeral services will be held at Howard-Carter Funeral Home Monday, May 13, 2024 at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Westview Cemetery with visitation to follow.
