Anthony Brian Snyder, 44, of Grifton, passed away suddenly, on Thursday, January 15, 2026. He is survived by his father, Michael Snyder of Kinston, mother, Kay Futrell of Grifton, daughter, Ava Rain Snyder Sanchez of Deep Run, sons, Zachary Snyder of Grifton and Austin Snyder of Florida, brother, Chris Snyder (Nicole) of Ft. Barnwell, niece Jade Snyder, nephew, Chase Snyder (Amber) and children, Summer, Skylar, and Vash, and girlfriend, Michelle Rodriquez of Vanceboro.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Judy Taylor and grandmother, Betty Martin.
Anthony loved to hunt and fish, especially deep-sea fishing and time spent on the boat. The mountains were close to his heart, particularly Boone, where he enjoyed their beauty and calm. Anthony was a musician who loved to play instruments, sing, and get lost in the rhythm. He also enjoyed grilling out with family and friends, sharing meals, laughter, and fellowship. Being outdoors was his favorite pastime and a place where he found joy and peace.
Anthony will be remembered for his love of music, free spirit, love of nature and his love for adventure.
