Arthur Caroll "Sonny" Humphreys, IV

Arthur (Sonny) Caroll Humphreys, IV, 70, of Kinston, passed away at home on October 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Sonny was born to the late Arthur Caroll Humphreys, III, and Barbara Rawls Humphreys on August 26, 1955.

Living a simple and quiet life was who Sonny was. He loved his family deeply, especially his three beautiful grandchildren, Hailey Humphreys, Hunter Humphreys, and Carter Humphreys. They were the apple of his eye.

 A big sports fan, he had a love for all sports. His favorite though was basketball. A true Carolina fan, Sonny rarely missed watching a game. Sonny loved to fish too. The beach was his home away from home.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of the home, Donna Sanderson Humphreys, sons, Brandon Humphreys of the home and Kyle Humphreys (Shelby) of Swansboro, grandchildren, Hailey Humphreys, Hunter Humphreys, and Carter Humphreys and sister Linda Lillion (Mike) of Greenville.
