Barbara Jean (Howard) Bennett

Barbara Jean Bennett, age 68, of Swansboro, NC passed away at Carteret Health Care, Morehead City, NC on Wednesday January 16, 2025.  She was predeceased by her father, Elwood Howard and mother, Margaret Williams; sister, Teresa Jones and brother, David Howard.

Barbara is survived by husband, Brooks Bennett of the home; daughter, Crystal Howard of Swansboro; son, William Johnson of Deep Run; grandchildren, Jordan Blake Robinson and wife, Sarah, and Mason Goodman; great-grandchildren, Owen, Amelia “Millie” and Madelyn “Maddie”; sisters, Diane Herring and husband, “ToJo”, Lynn Howard, Glenda Long and husband, Bob, Jamie Williams and Brother, Andrew Howard.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Christian Chapel Church, Pink Hill, NC. Funeral service to follow visitation at 2:00 PM with Pastor Powell Dew presiding. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
