Benjamin Dawson III Obituary

Benjamin Thomas Dawson III, 76, of Kinston, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at UNC Lenoir Health Care. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Thomas Dawson, Jr. and Martha Hoover Dawson, and sisters, Virginia, Carrie, Hilda, and Faye.

Benjamin was a loving husband of 56 years, and a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and cooking. He was an avid Carolina fan and loved to find treasures at a yard sale. He was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He was loved by all and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Casper Dawson; sons, Tom Dawson and wife, Michelle, and Chris Dawson; grandchildren, Blaire Dawson, Reagan Dawson, and Tanner Dawson, and many other special family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
