Bernice Moore Foster

Bernice Moore Foster, 91, of Kinston passed away on September 11, 2023 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, NC.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest James Foster; parents, F. P. Moore and Eva Whaley Moore; son, Rodney Foster and brother, Alvin Moore.

She is survived by her daughter; Wanda Boyette and husband Kenneth of Manson NC, grandson; Daniel Bryan Boyette of Charlotte NC.

Bernice was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.  She was a member of British Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Howard-Carter Funeral Home.   Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 11:00  am at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Coombs officiating.  Burial immediately following at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Kinston, NC
