Bobby Charles Seymore

Bobby Charles Seymore, age 90, of Kinston passed away at UNC Lenoir Hospital Sunday, March 23, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Claude and Lillie Seymore; sister, Claudia Mosier; and brothers, Junior Seymore and Buddy Seymore.

Bobby worked in power line construction. He was a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church for sixty-six years. 

Bobby is survived by his wife, Polly Seymore, of the home; daughter, Sherry Seymore Burkette and husband, Jesse, of Kinston; grandchildren, Dustin Burkett and wife, Kelsey, of Greenville, and Nicole Burkett, of Kinston; great-grandchildren, Matthew Murdock, Lynlee Burkett, and Benjamin Schoonover; sister, Vickie Stafford, of Arkansas; brother, Bill Seymore, of California; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow the service at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston.
