She is preceded in death by her father, Leon Samuel Wiggins and mother Alma Lousie Sanderson and stepfather, Ray Sanderson.
Brenda is survived by her sons: Jeffrey Wiggins, Jerry Cannon, and Christopher Wiggins, daughters: Kimberly Knapp and Chelsie Wiggins, brother: Sammy Wiggins and sister: Debra Tripp, grandchildren: Zachery Wiggins, Dasia Cannon, Tinsley Potter, Alicia Smith. Maiah Wiggins, Brielle Cannon, Izabelle Smith and many nieces and nephews
