Bryan West “Pepsi” Seymore, 82, of Kinston passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ham Seymore, parents, Walter and Rena Taylor Seymore.
Bryan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He worked 30 years with the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Department. He enjoyed playing chess, watching Dallas Cowboys and was known for hitchhiking the Eastern Seaboard. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He never met a stranger. He was loved by all and will be missed by many.
He is survived by daughters, Cathy Gordon of Simpson and Robin Sindy and husband, Herman of Kinston; son, Kenneth Baker and wife Cynthia of Farmville; grandchildren, Misty Cooper and husband, Brandon Rouse, Corey Baker and wife, Hannah; Shannon Cooper; Windy Askew and husband, Travis, Courtney Boswell and husband, Adam; fifteen great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park immediately following the service.
