Carol Stroud Obituary
Elizabeth “Carol” Hardison Stroud, 84, of Kinston passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center.
Carol was a loving mother, grandmother and a devoted member of Revival Mission Church. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Lanie Hardison; sister, Edna Lucille Holland and brother, Edward Earl “Bud” Hardison.
Carol is survived by her son, Tim Stroud and wife Renada of Kinston; sister, Brenda H. Honeycutt of Charlotte; brothers, Herman Hardison Jr. and wife, Shelia of Kinston and Thomas Harold Hardison and wife, Carolyn of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Shane Stroud, Josh Stroud, Nate Costa, and Miranda Hansen and great-grandchildren, Hannah Spence, Hayden Stroud, Jade Stroud, Liam Stroud, Aubrey Hansen and Veronica Hansen.
A visitation will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, December 19, 2021, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, 1608 W Vernon Avenue, Kinston NC. Burial will follow at Stroud’s Resting Place, 2725 Causey Road, Kinston NC.
