Clarsie Smith Obituary

Clarsie Heath Smith, 85, of Kinston passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

Funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with Ray Taylor officiating. Visitation will follow after the funeral service. Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

Clarsie is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Lettie Boyette Heath; brothers Walter Heath, Earl Heath and Percy Heath; sisters Reba Taylor and Edna Taylor.

She was a member of Jackson Heights Free Will Baptist Church. Clarsie was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed dearly.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years Lynwood E. Smith; daughters Pamela Smith Dail and husband John of Kinston, Sandra “Smitty” Smith of Kinston; grandchildren Christy Berreth and husband Andrew, Becky Davis and husband Tate; great grandchildren Sara-Claire Younts, Nicholas Balent, Charlotte Berreth, and A.J. Berreth; special extended family Drs. Alan and Hanan Kirollos, Mark Kirollos, Joseph Kirollos, and John Kirollos who they considered as their grandchildren.
