David Paul Britt, Jr.

David Paul Britt, Jr., of Kinston passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center. Paul was born October 7, 1945 in Lumberton, NC. He was a man that truly lived life to the fullest. He loved his life and all who knew Paul felt his energy when they were in the room with him. This energy will be missed and remembered by many. He is preceded in death by his mother, Leona Herring; father, David Britt; sisters, Kathy Cauley and Pam Lee; brother, Gene Britt and granddaughters, Dakota Brooke and Erica Danielle.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessie Britt and husband Victor Gonzalez; grandson, Hunter Koonce; brother, Bobby Britt; special friend, Vicky Staton, along with many other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation to follow at Howard-Carter Funeral Home.
