David Hoover Obituary

David Keith Hoover, 69, of Kinston passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at his home. David was born on November 23, 1951 in Lenoir County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hazel Mayo and Joseph Frank Hoover.

He grew up in Kinston, graduated from Grainger High School, and worked at DuPont. He was a lover of golf and reading.

David is survived by his wife, Marilyn Hoover, of the home; aunt, Virginia Mayo of Kinston, and cousins, Greg Mayo of Kinston and Sherry Mayo Carlisle of Wilmington, NC.
