Debbie Lynn (Bunn) Thomas

Debbie Lynn Bunn Thomas, 61, of Kinston passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at UNC Lenoir Health Care. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Eugene Bunn and Helen Johnson Bunn.

Debbie was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend.  She enjoyed her work as a nurse, working for approximately 40 years and cared deeply for her patients.

Debbie cherished her family and spoiling her grandbabies.  She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Nicole Thomas and significant other, Randy White, of Kinston; son, Corey Eugene Thomas and wife, Angel Wittes of Kentucky; grandchildren, Noah Ray Bland, Makenzie Brooke Thomas, of  Kinston,  Alexis Marie Wittes, Tyleah Ann Wittes, Kylee Lynn Wittes, Spencer Eugene Wittes, Evan Lee Wittes of Kentucky;  sister, Theresa Kornegay of Maury; nephew, Bradley Kornegay and wife Nikki of Kinston; niece, Cassie Steponkust and husband, Peter of New Bern.  She loved her fur babies, Coco, Precious and Sweetie and Smokey.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home.
