Dennis Neil Reynolds

Dennis Neil Reynolds, 72, of Kinston, NC, passed away on Tuesday, April 07, 2026, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Dennis was a beloved individual who was a devoted member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church for a lifetime. His faith was a guiding light, and his dedication to his church family was evident in the way he lived and loved others.

He found great joy in reading, especially the Bible, which served as a source of strength, comfort, and inspiration throughout his life. His love for music brought him happiness as well, particularly gospel and bluegrass, which often filled his home and heart.

In his quiet moments, he enjoyed simple pleasures, including watching The Price is Right, a pastime that brought smiles and comfort.

Dennis will be remembered for his gentle spirit and the joy he found in life’s simple blessings. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Teddy and Ada Reynolds and sisters. Carolyn R. Brooks and Frances R. Taylor.

Dennis is survived by his sisters, Zelma Davenport of Kinston and Joan Simpson of Kinston, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 09, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Christian Church in Pink Hill, with Pastor Lynn Maxwell officiating. Visitation will be held before the service, from 12:00 p.m.- 1:00 p.m.
