Doris "Dell" Grady

Doris “Dell” Grady, 82, retired seamstress, of Kinston, passed away Wednesday, November, 29, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clem Frank Jenkins, and Doris Dell Jenkins; sister, Wanda Jenkins and brother, William Franklin “Buddy” Jenkins.

Doris is survived by her sister, Kathy Stocks of Kinston; daughters, Becky Sanderson, and husband Robert of La Grange, Wanda Small and husband Brian of Dover; grandsons, Bradley Sanderson and wife Ellie of Raleigh, Kevin Sanderson of La Grange, Tyler Small and wife Jessica of Snow Hill; granddaughter, Chelsie Thomas, and husband James of Maysville; great grandchildren, Zoie, Corbin, Nora, and Rory.

She was a blessed mother and grandmother that loved cooking Sunday Dinners for her family. Dell was a devoted Christian that enjoyed listening to her sermons and her daily phone calls with her sister.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00p.m., Friday, December 1, 2023, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with visitation to follow.
