Doris Heath Obituary

Doris Marie Kornegay Heath, 89, of Kinston passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at her home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry William Kornegay and Bertha Mae Tyndall, and her husband, Robert Lee Heath, Sr.

Doris was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching game shows on TV. She was always willing to go out of her way to help others. Doris was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her son, Robert Lee Heath, Jr.; grandchildren, Nathaniel R. Smith-Heath and Saya Heath; and brother, Wes Kornegay.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Pinelawn Memorial Park with Reverend Seth Jones officiating.
