Dorothy Jane (Taylor) Sanderson

Dorothy Jane Taylor Sanderson, 75, of La Grange, left her earthly home on December 2, 2025. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose gentle spirit and unwavering kindness touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Kincaid, and husband Charles of La Grange; brother, William Earl Taylor, and wife Joyce of Virginia; and grandchildren, Cody Earl Kincaid and wife Madison of Kinston, great-grandchildren, Waylon Earl Kincaid and Lainey Jean Kincaid. She is also cherished and remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband; Ronnie Earl Sanderson, sister, Annie Ruth Allison; and her brothers, Merle Jones, and Cecil Taylor.

Dorothy deeply loved her family and friends, and her grandchild and great-grandchildren brought her joy beyond measure. She enjoyed spending her days gardening and working in her yard, where she found peace and happiness in the beauty around her.

A graveside service will be held Friday, December 05, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at Pinelawn Memorial Park, with Pastor Allen Ham officiating.

Dorothy’s warmth, love and gentle presence will be forever missed but never forgotten.
