Dorothy Carol (Jarman) Yellig

Dorothy Carol Jarman Yellig, age 75, of New Bern, NC passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Gardens of the Trent.  She was born January 6, 1949.

Dorothy was manager of a local insurance office until her retirement.  She loved cooking, dancing, sewing, gardening, and the beach.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband David Leo Boyette and her parents Joseph Crawford Jarman and Alice Parker Jarman.

Dorothy is survived by her husband Albert James Yellig of the home and son David Boyette and wife Teresa of Flat Rock, N.C.; grandchildren Keiley Boyette, Gary Rhoton, and Carrie Rhoton; several nieces and nephews and dear friend Lou Odom of Pikeville; siblings Bobbie Barwick and husband Lynwood of Kinston, and Eward Jarman and wife Marilyn of Kinston.

Funeral service will be Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Howard-Carter Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Assocation, 5171 Glennwood Ave. Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27612.
