Douglas Clarence Lassiter Jr.

Douglas Clarence Lassiter, 51, of Kinston, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Earl Lassiter, Jr. and Charlene Porter.

Doug was employed as an installer for Blizzard Flooring.  When he was not working he enjoyed NASCAR, hunting and fishing.

Doug is survived by his daughter, Hannah Lassiter of Wilmington; sons, Samuel Lassiter of Winterville and Gabriel Lassiter of Kinston; sisters, Alison L. Strommer of Kinston and Melanie L. Singh of New Bern; brother, Bryan Fuller of Philadelphia, PA; stepmother, Anna Lassiter of Trenton;  mother of his children, Laura Baugher and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

At Doug’s request, there will be no services.
