Douglas Ennitt White

Douglas Ennitt White, age 83, of Kinston passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at UNC Lenoir Hospital.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Ethel O’Quinn White, grandson, Tanner Lee White.

Doug served his country honorably in the United States Navy.  After his military service Doug worked as a mechanic at Crown Corporation. 

Doug is survived by his wife, Rose Paulette White; son, Douglas Ennitt White, Jr. and wife, Christina Davis White;  grandchildren, Abbott Lyn Howard and husband, Hunter Howard of Kinston and Sara Ann White of Greenville; great-grandchildren, Levi Howard and Dalton Howard; sister Patsy Thompson and husband, Bobby Thompson of Kinston, sisters-in-law, Linda M. Little of Kinston and Barbara Ann Pate of Deep Run and dog, Porky White.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
