Elwood Mac Taylor, Sr.

Elwood Mac Taylor, Sr., 83, of King, NC passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, C.B. and Edna Taylor of Kinston, three sisters, one brother, and one granddaughter.

Elwood is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Anne Daughety Taylor, of the home; sons, Elwood Mac Taylor, Jr. and wife, Tina, of King, NC and Theodore “Teddy” Bryan Taylor and wife, Brandi, of Pfafftown, NC; daughter, Lora Taylor Carter and husband, Jeff, of Advance, NC; five grandchildren, Mathew, Karli (Colin), Shawn, Bryan, and Chris; one great-grandson, Max Tyler, and many other close family and friends. 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home. Burial will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Richmond Evangelical Church, 4450 Tobaccoville Road, Tobaccoville, NC 27050.
