Emma "Pat" Lovine Jones

Emma Lovine “Pat” Jones, 80, of Kinston, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Thomas Jones and Mary Jane Stroud, brother, Arthur Jones, and son, Thomas Dale Jones.

Pat was born in Duplin County. She worked as an in-home nurse’s aide while living in Long Beach, CA. She was a member of The Kinston Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. She loved helping others and serving in whatever way she could.

She is survived by her brother, Vernon Thomas Jones (Shorty); nephews, Thomas Todd Jones and wife, Linda, and Anthony (Tony) Lamar Jones, and cousin and caregiver, Lisa Whitfield.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Westview Cemetery with Bishop Jeff Howard officiating.
