Emmie Crews Kinsey, of Kinston, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 at UNC Lenoir Health Care. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Lawton Crews and Edna Jones Crews, and brother, Thomas Crews.
She was a retired Medical Transcriptionist and faithful member of Chinquapin Chapel Church.
Emmie is survived by her husband, Roger Allen Kinsey, of the home; her “little fur ball”, Sugar; stepdaughters, Sharron Hinson of La Grange, Amy Kinsey of Kinston, and Regina Kinsey and husband, Dusty, of Kinston; stepson, Chris Smith and wife, Mary Ann, of New Bern; step-grandchildren, Cooper, Madalyn, Marlee, Caroline, and Jacob; sister, Rhonda Garris of Kinston; brother, Cecil Crews and wife, Brenda, of Deep Run, along with many other close family members and friends.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Pinelawn Memorial Park with Pastor Eddie Griffin officiating.
