Eugene (Bud) Curtis Rhem

Eugene (Bud) Curtis Rhem, 82, of Dover, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melcher Rhem and Mary Louise Riggs Rhem. He was a faithful member of New Testament Baptist Church.

Bud is survived by his wife of 56 years, Brenda Moore Rhem, of the home; sons, Curtis Eugene Rhem and wife, Lisa, of Dover, and Daniel Ezra Rhem of Dover; grandchildren, Hannah Rhem and Emmalee Rhem; sister-in-law, Marsha Demoret and husband, John, of Cove City; brothers-in-law, Walter Moore and wife, Connie, of Cove City and Jimi Moore and wife, Juanita, of Dover, along with many other close family members and friends.

The family would like to thank Centerwell Home Health and Gentiva Hospice for their wonderful care. They would also like to thank Bud’s many special nieces and nephews for all that they have done for him and his family during his time of need.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Pinelawn Memorial Park with Jimi Moore officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
