Obituary
Eunice Glenn McDaniel Hicks, 79, of Dover, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at UNC Lenoir Health Care in Kinston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Wayne Hicks; parents, Willard and Helen McDaniel, and sisters, Berta Herndon and Ernestine Sach.
Eunice attended Lane’s Chapel Methodist Church in Dover.
Eunice is survived by her daughter, Robin Hicks Gray and husband, Jimmy, of Creedmoor, NC; granddaughter, Kelsey Parrish and husband, Christopher, of Butner, NC; great-granddaughter, Olivia Grace Parrish; sisters, Ann Wetherington and husband, Lindy, of Kinston, Glenda Oliver and husband, Larry, of Kinston, and Barbara Tribula and husband, Mike, of Kinston; brothers, Eugene McDaniel and wife, Dorothy, of Alexander, VA and Nathan McDaniel and wife, Linda, of Sneads Ferry, NC; special cousins, Raeford Jones and wife, Janet, of Dover, along with many other close family and friends.
An interment service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the New Bern National Cemetery with Michael McDaniel officiating.
