Geraldine Riggs

Geraldine Marshburn Riggs, 93, of Kinston, NC passed away at Kitty Askins on Friday, February 7, 2025.  She is preceded in death by her husband Charlie Lee Riggs, parents, John Roy Marshburn and Lona Marshburn; brother, John Quincy Marshburn; sisters, Evelyn Patricia Jones and Alice Faye Marshburn.

Geraldine is survived by her sons Johnny Lee Riggs of Snow Hill and fiancé Joan Brown Wheeler of Williamston, Charles Allan and wife Linda Riggs of LaGrange, and Lynwood Ray Riggs and fiancé Ruth Harrison of LaGrange; grandsons, Jack Lee and wife Jessica Riggs of Kinston and Nickolas Ray Riggs of Hendersonville; Brother Kenneth Marshburn of Snow Hill; Sisters, Brenda Waller of Kinston and fiancé David Hill of Goldsboro and Betty Buehler of Botkins, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 11:00 am at Pinelawn Memorial Park with Pastor Allen Stocks officiating.
