Obituary
Gregory Lewis Brown, 63, of Kinston, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Wayne Brown, Sr. and Lissie Lou Buck Brown.
Greg was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR racing, spending time with his family, and riding motorcycles with his buddies. He was a hard worker with a giving heart and was always willing to help those who needed it. He was the life of the party and truly a joy to be around. He will be missed greatly by all those who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Toni Smith of Kinston; son, Jonathan Brown and wife, Stacie, of Kinston; grandchildren, Lynsey Carr and husband, Jacob, Shane Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Brooklyn Tripp, Richard Davini, Kamryn Brown, and Jason Brown; siblings, Stanley Brown, Jr. and wife, Christine, of Wilson, Donna Creel and husband, Doug, of Hugo, and Kay Sugg and husband, Michael, of Clayton; the mother of his children, Teresa Brown, and many other close family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home.
