Harold Lindsay, 91, peacefully passed away to his heavenly home on Sunday, November 28, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Kinston. He was born and raised in Mount Olive, Wayne County. Harold was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed many joyful gatherings with his family. His greatest joy was derived from the life he shared with Faye, the love of his life for over 65 years. He was a dedicated member of New Hope Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, Sunday School teacher and choir member for many years. He worked at Dupont as an electrician for almost 40 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Addest Lutrell Lindsay, mother, Margie Baggett Lindsay, sisters, Ruth Lindsay Fields, Helen Lindsay Sutton and Joyce Lindsay Hooks, and brothers, Addest Elwood Lindsay, Ronald Gerald Lindsay and Carroll Lindsay.
