Harry Alexander Fields

Harry Alexander Fields, 91, of Kinston, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Fields and Meta Jeffords Fields, and son, Gary Fields.

Harry was a loving husband of 66 years, and a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a member of Richard Caswell Masonic Lodge #705 A.F. & A.M., the Lenoir County Shrine Club, and the Sudan Motor Patrol. He worked with the telephone company for over 30 years before retiring and also served in the United States Navy. Harry enjoyed playing golf and watching Clemson University play. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie Allen Fields, of the home; son, Dennis Fields and wife, Christena; grandchildren, Mary Ryan Shapiro and husband, Greg, of California, Michele Marina Blake and husband, Blythe, of Garner, Charles Alexander Fields and wife, Morgan, of Harrisburg; great-grandchildren, Mary Harmony Shapiro, Jackson Allen Shapiro, Easton Alexander Shapiro, Christian Vance Marina, Liza Makenzie Marina, Savanah Grae Blake, Elizabeth James Fields, and Evan Christina Fields; brother, William C. Fields.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2022 at Westview Cemetery with Dr. Dew Powell officiating, with Masonic Rites and Military Honors.
