Henry Leon “Buddy” Potter, 57, of La Grange, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at UNC Lenoir Health Care. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Antwine Potter, sister, Karen Lynn Potter Mobley, and brothers, Jesse Franklin Potter, James Lupton Potter, Charlie Edward Potter, Jimmy Burney Potter, and Mitchell Bynum Potter.

He is survived by his daughter, Brianna Potter and significant other, Jose Luis Leon, of Deep Run; son, Justin Potter and wife, Elizabeth, of Kinston; grandchildren, Peyten Potter, Charlotte Potter, and Aubrey Leon; sisters, Lucille Hooker, Dinah Wilson, Jean Rose, Patsy Joyner, and Sue Dreves, and many other special family and friends.

A private service will be held at a later date.
