Iris Muriel Osborne

Iris Muriel Osborne, 90, of Kinston, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her parents, McCoy Merritt and Fletta Jane Merritt, four sisters and two brothers.

Iris was a member of Wheat Swamp Christian Church.  She worked as an accounting clerk for Data Systems.  She enjoyed volunteering at the hospital and traveling with friends.

Iris is survived by her husband, Harry B. Osborne; daughters, Sherry O. McCray and husband, Mike of VA, Cindy Jacobs and husband Jeff of Maryland,; grandchildren, Stephanie, Samantha, Bonnie, Annie and Justin and 13 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
