Jack Morris Mobley, Jr.

Jack Morris Mobley, Jr, age 39, passed away tragically on Sunday, September 20, 2020, as the result of an automobile accident. Born December 18, 1980 in Kinston, NC.  He was the son of the late Jack Morris Mobley Sr. and Lorreine Tyndall Mobley of Mount Olive.  Jack loved his job as a forklift operator at the Mount Olive Pickle Plant in Mount Olive, NC.  Jack enjoyed fishing and hunting over the years and he occasionally would hit a golf ball or two.  He loved ball, whether it be baseball or basketball and liked the UNC Tarheels.  He loved food and one of his favorite pastimes was eating.  Thanksgiving and Christmas were his favorite holidays.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his beloved beagle, Mina.  Mina was the truest love of his life, who loved him unconditionally.  His surviving family includes his mother Lorreine Tyndall Mobley, sister’s Danielle Mobley Harrison of Snow Hill, Mandy Mobley Tigert and husband James of Winterville and Jackie Mobley Cockrell of Greenville; Nieces and nephews Tyler Harrison, Zachery Harrison, Sara Kate Harrison and Rachel Tigert, and special friend Jamie Hamner of Kenansville.  Special acknowledgements of Brittany Harper, Brandon Malpass and Buddy Cherry.  

Family will receive friends after the service on September 23, 2020 at 6pm at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, 1608 West Vernon Avenue, Kinston, NC 28502.  In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to Howard-Carter Funeral Home in memoriam of Jack Morris Mobley, Jr.
