James Perry Obituary

James Alton Perry, 79, of Kinston went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, October 5, 2018 at UNC Lenoir HealthCare. He is preceded in death by his parents Jesse Perry, Jr. and Mildred Virginia Frizelle Perry, son James Alton Perry, Jr., stepson Denny Harper and brother Justin Perry.

James is survived by his wife Mary Thompson Perry, daughters Jane Moye and Tammy Summerlin (Roger), stepsons Clifton Harper and Ricky Thompson, five grandchildren, brothers Arthur Perry and wife Faye, Joseph Perry and wife Shelia and sister-in-law Barbara Perry.

Funeral services will be held at Howard-Carter Funeral Home Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 7:00 pm with visitation to follow. Graveside will be held Monday, October 8, 2018 at Snow Hill City Cemetery at 11:00 am.
