James "Jimmy" Stuart Sugg

James “Jimmy” Stuart Sugg, 67, of Kinston, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018 at his home. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Bruton Sugg Sr. his brother, Paul Sugg Jr. and sister-in-law, Patsy Moody Sugg.

Jimmy worked at Hookerton Tire and Recappers and as a sewing machine mechanic. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He loved his grandsons and loved his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, grilling and watching NC State Basketball and the Tarheels.

Left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Melissa Sugg Haddock and husband Scot of Snow Hill and Wendy Moye Stepps and husband Randy of Hookerton; mother, Myra Christine Sugg of Kinston; sisters, Susan Sugg Cantu and husband Mike of Clayton, Barbara Sugg Hammond and husband Lee of Trenton, and Vivian Sugg Reynolds of Kinston; brother, Douglas Alan Sugg and wife Kimberly of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Cameron Haddock and Craig Stepps as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Rainbow Cemetery in Snow Hill with Pastor Allen Ham officiating.
