Jannece Roberts-Taylor

Jannece Roberts-Taylor, 51, of LaGrange, passed away on March 5, 2023 at ECU Medical Center in Greenville. She was born April 29, 1971 in Catawba County. Jannece was preceded in death by her father, Thad Roberts, her mother, Helen Canipe Mashburn, and brother, Ronald “Ronnie” Roberts.

Jannece is survived by her husband, Frank Taylor, of the home. She is also survived by her sons, Darrell Isaacs and fiancée, Janice, of LaGrange, Harley Thigpen and wife, Kimber, of Kinston, and stepson, Frank Taylor, Jr. of Kinston; grandchildren, Lelayna Maples of the home, Terra, Michael, Alexis, and Paul; brothers, Robert “Bobby” Roberts and wife, Jade, of Hickory and Michael Roberts of Taylorsville; sisters, Sandy Clubb of Buncombe County and Shelly Sawyer and husband, Arthur, of Morganton; best friend, Karen Millican of New Jersey, several nieces and nephews and cousins, and many other close family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home in Kinston. A later memorial service will be done in the Hickory, NC area for family and friends who are not able to attend the first memorial.
